About the service

The NHS Newcastle and North Tyneside stop smoking service offers all the support you need to help you stop smoking FREE of charge. This includes:

• Products to help with withdrawal symptoms
          i.Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) e.g. patches, gum etc
          ii.Zyban or Champix (medications)
• A programme of weekly support for up to 12 weeks
• Consultations, which take between 15 and 30 minutes
• Stop smoking sessions which you can just drop in to
