The Macmillan bus is coming to North Shields at the Linskill centre on 7July 2010 between 10am - 4pm. The free event has been organised to help raise awareness of cancer for people with learning disabilities. 

Lunch will be provided at the event so we would be grateful if people could let us know if they are going to attend, however people are more than welcome to drop in at anytime during the day.  Tea and coffee will be provide throughout the day

The day is open to anyone from Newcastle or North Tyneside.  During the day we will have an information stall that will be able to provide information and support on all aspects of cancer, signs and symptoms, prevention as well as general information on help and support available – people can also go on the bus and view the information and talk to Macmillan professionals if they have any specific questions.
